In collaboration with Police Chief Justin Mayberry, I would like to clarify that the Weed Police Department remains open, despite the ongoing renovation and testing at City Hall. Because the department operates 24 hours a day, providing essential services including 911 dispatch, staffing is being managed to maintain complete continuity of service while keeping all city staff safe.
