The City of Weed is introducing a new way to keep residents informed and connected.

In the inaugural episode of the City of Weed Podcast, City Manager Dr. Dustin Stambaugh looks back on his first year with the City—from September 2025 through September 2026. The conversation covers the challenges the community has faced, progress made throughout the City, and the work still ahead.

Topics include water and infrastructure improvements, the Main Street cleanup and redevelopment effort, public safety and emergency preparedness, community partnerships, Weed Vision 2035, City operations, fiscal challenges, and efforts to improve communication with residents.

The podcast is intended to provide additional context about City projects and decisions and to create another opportunity for residents to hear directly from City officials, staff, and community partners.
