Administrative Division

The City of Weed Police Department, Administrative Division, consists of the Chief, one Sergeant, one Corporal.  Each member of the division has specific job duties assigned to them, which may include; disaster planning, grant writing, training, or records management.  Also within the administrative division the Support Services Manager is responsible for dispatch supervision, public records request, & crime reporting.  Each member of the division has specific job duties assigned to them, which may include; disaster planning, grant writing, training, or records management.

The Administrative Sergeant oversees the department investigator position, the evidence technician, the administrative Corporal when staffed, and directs the community service officers in daily operations.  The Administrative Sergeant has also been responsible for the monitoring of duties for special assignments such as the Siskiyou County Major Investigation Team and the Weed Police Department SRO.
